I have many other resolutions for change which I think you should consider and undertake.īut I think you have enough on your plate for this 2009th year of the Christian Era. Jail the miscreants who made profits from abusing the system.Ĩ) Sign the Kyoto Protocol and other international agreements. Stop banks from lending non-existent money by the billions. Stop hedge funds, derivatives and currency trading. And you have not succeeded anyway.ħ) Stop the casinos which you call financial institutions.
Your crusade to democratize countries has killed more people than the authoritarian Governments which you overthrew. Democracy may work for the United States but it does not always work for other countries.ĭon't kill people because they are not democratic. It is un-Christian.Ħ) Stop trying to democratize all the countries of the world. What have you achieved with this cruelty? Nothing except the hatred of the victims and right-thinking people.Ĥ) Stop your scientists and researchers from inventing new and more diabolical weapons to kill more people more efficiently.ĥ) Stop your arms manufacturers from producing them. In Iraq your sanctions killed 500,000 children through depriving them of medicine and food. The planes and the bombs killing the people of Gaza are from you.ģ) Stop applying sanctions against countries which cannot do the same against you. Stop your arms build up and your planning for future wars.Ģ) Stop indiscriminate support of Israeli killers with your money and your weapons. War is primitive, the cavemen's way of dealing with a problem. It is about killing people, ordinary innocent people by the hundreds of thousands.

You call it war, but today's wars are not about professional soldiers fighting and killing each other. The United States is too fond of killing people in order to achieve its objectives. But may I politely suggest that you also resolve to do the following in pursuit of Change.ġ) Stop killing people. You must have listed your good resolutions already.
It is the custom on New Year's day for people to make resolutions. Yet you were once admired and liked because you freed a lot of countries from conquest and subjugation. That is because America and Americans have become the best hated people in the world. Certainly your country, the United States of America need a lot of changes. I did not vote for you in the Presidential Election because I am Malaysian.īut I consider myself one of your constituents because what you do or say will affect me and my country as well.

I come out with this idea when i saw a toy that still can be used but been thrown away by rich people using my bobox robot as my model.i'm trying to dedicate this theme for Palestinians children who never had a chance to play with a toy.May Allah save them.Amin Reflection from the water infront of our seats The leading poet among the Companions was Hassan ibn Thabit, whose work is closely echoed in Busiri's ode.Picture were taken when me and my roomates when out to company peedot.shooping kot mamat tu.haha During the lifetime of the Prophet (PBUH), poets celebrated his glories, using eulogies that, thanks to the special rules that apply to Arabic poetry, might sound extravagant if expressed in prose. The popularity of the Burdah among scholars and laymen alike derives from the complex and brilliant use of the Arabic language, the author's deep love of the Prophet (PBUH), and also from the fact that poetry in his praise is a cultural practice followed with great literary success since the dawn of Islam itself. This beatiful rendition by Khalid Belrhouzi is both powerful and moving, and is complimented well with excerpts by Yusuf Islam in English. Written to instill and fortify one's love of the Messenger of God (PBUH), its mere reading is widely believed to be efficacious. This introduction to the Burda (The Poem of the Mantle) by al-Busiri - is the most well known and oft-read poen about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the Islamic world.
